Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/03/2036 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joseph Carnegie (25(1) - 11) who hails from Preston, UK and Kyo Horie(1 - 2) from Chiba, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Horie is on target with a jab.

Horie is looking to close the distance and walks Carnegie down, trapping him in the corner.  Horie throws a left uppercut, but Carnegie ties up his opponent.  Horie throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Carnegie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carnegie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Horie throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Horie walks his opponent into a corner.  Carnegie drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Carnegie steps to the outside.  Carnegie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Horie closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Carnegie on the ropes.  Horie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Horie throws a left hook, but Carnegie holds on to his opponent.  Carnegie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carnegie about fouling.
