Qalqandar Agaev vs Greg Loong

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/02/2036 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Qalqandar Agaev (16 - 4) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Greg Loong(1 - 8) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Agaev finds the target with a jab.  
Loong is looking to close the distance.  Agaev drives a right hook into Loong's ribs.  
Agaev lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Agaev lands a firm cross.  
Loong attempts to land a left hook, but Agaev blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Loong's body.  
Agaev is on target with a jab.

Loong advances into close range.  Loong pivots from in front of his opponent, but Agaev digs in a right hook to Loong's ribs.  
Agaev lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Agaev feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Loong pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Agaev tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Loong closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Loong walks Agaev down, trapping him in the corner.  Agaev lands a solid right hook.  
Agaev is on target with a left hook to Loong's liver.  
Agaev hits home with a cross.  
Agaev hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Agaev switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Loong's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Loong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Agaev is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Agaev steps to the outside and hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Agaev lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Agaev is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Agaev tries to land a jab, but Loong blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Loong manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Agaev throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Loong is looking to close the distance and forces Agaev to back into the ropes.  Loong throws a left uppercut, but Agaev ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Agaev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
