Hideki Miyoshi vs Leon Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/02/2036 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hideki Miyoshi (53(22) - 12) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Leon Owen(1 - 15) from Swansea, UK.  

Round 1: 

Miyoshi gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Miyoshi digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Owen advances into close range.  Owen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Owen throws a right hook, but Miyoshi clinches his opponent.  Miyoshi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Owen pushes his forearm into Miyoshi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Owen about fouling.  
Miyoshi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Miyoshi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Miyoshi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Miyoshi walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Miyoshi lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Miyoshi clinches his opponent.  Miyoshi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Owen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Miyoshi is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Owen throws a left hook, but Miyoshi clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Owen manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Miyoshi connects with a cross.  
Miyoshi lands a right hook.  
Owen drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Miyoshi is on target with a left uppercut.  
Miyoshi is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Owen attempts to land a right hook, but Miyoshi blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Miyoshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Miyoshi connects with a hurtful right uppercut.  OWEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Miyoshi tries to land a left uppercut, but Owen dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  Owen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Miyoshi walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Owen connects with a right hook.  
Owen is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Miyoshi steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Miyoshi lands a solid cross.  
Miyoshi lands with a hard jab.  
Miyoshi is looking to close the distance and hits home with a firm right hook.  Miyoshi ties up his opponent.  Miyoshi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miyoshi about fouling.

Miyoshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Owen now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Miyoshi hits home with a firm cross.  
Miyoshi lands a firm right hook.  
Miyoshi lands a sharp left hook.  
Miyoshi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Owen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Miyoshi advances into close range and connects with a firm right hook.  
Miyoshi lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES OWEN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Owen is looking to close the distance.  Miyoshi hits home with a solid left hook.  
Miyoshi is on target with a right hook.  
Miyoshi advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Miyoshi holds on to his opponent.  Miyoshi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Owen's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Miyoshi to stop fouling.  
Miyoshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Miyoshi tries to land a jab, but Owen sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Miyoshi lands with a spiteful jab.  
Owen lands a jab.  
Miyoshi closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Miyoshi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Miyoshi EXPLODES a HUGE left hook into his opponents face.  OWEN IS HURT!  Miyoshi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  Owen quickly recovers. 
Miyoshi connects with a WICKED right hook.  OWEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Miyoshi!
