Rob Craib vs Rob McClellan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/02/2036 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (36 - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Rob McClellan(1 - 17) from Grand Rapids, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib gets on the inside.  Craib leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McClellan accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Craib.  McClellan is on target with a left hook.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Craib pushes his forearm into McClellan's face.  The referee warns Craib and breaks the clinch.  
Craib lands a left hook.  
McClellan attempts to land a left hook, but Craib blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to McClellan's body.  
Craib lands a jab.  
McClellan advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
McClellan sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Craib lands a spiteful jab.  
McClellan lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Craib throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Craib clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Craib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Craib hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Craib ties up his opponent.  McClellan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McClellan to stop fouling.  
Craib lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Craib is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Craib lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
McClellan drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Craib digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Craib throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  McClellan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
McClellan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

McClellan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McClellan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Craib time to recover.  
McClellan steps inside.  Craib lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Craib hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Craib and breaks the clinch.  
McClellan throws a left hook, but Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McClellan advances into close range.  Craib is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McClellan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McClellan quickly recovers.

McClellan tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to McClellan's body.  
Craib attempts to land a jab, but McClellan dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.

Craib lands a stiff jab.  
Craib finds the target with a stinging jab.  
McClellan attempts to land a right hook, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Craib lands a cross to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
McClellan attempts to land a right uppercut, but Craib blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McClellan is looking to close the distance.  Craib lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
