Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/02/2036 from Yaoundé, Cameroon:

The Yaoundé venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leeroy Elrick (9 - 6) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Cade Galliard(0 - 2) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Elrick is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Elrick steps inside.  Galliard throws a left hook, but Elrick ties up his opponent.  Elrick pushes his forearm into Galliard's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elrick is looking to close the distance.  Galliard lands a solid left hook.  Elrick clinches his opponent.  Elrick leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elrick pivots from in front of his opponent.  Elrick lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Elrick clinches his opponent.  Elrick uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Galliard behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Elrick about fouling.  
Elrick steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Elrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Elrick advances into close range and connects with a sharp right hook.
