Callum Doyle vs Richie Snodgrass

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/02/2036 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Callum Doyle (27(2) - 8) who hails from Boston, USA and Richie Snodgrass(1 - 7) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Doyle gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Doyle digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Doyle is on target with a left uppercut to Snodgrass's ribs.  
Doyle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Doyle lands a jab.  
Doyle throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Doyle holds on to his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Doyle pushes his forearm into Snodgrass's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Doyle about fouling.  
Doyle closes the distance.  Snodgrass throws a right hook, but Doyle holds on to his opponent.  Snodgrass throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Doyle lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Snodgrass throws a right hook, but Doyle clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Snodgrass lands a cross.  
Doyle gets on the inside.  Snodgrass lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Snodgrass is on target with a cross.  Snodgrass tries to land a right hook, but Doyle blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Doyle steps inside.  Snodgrass lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Snodgrass throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Snodgrass is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Snodgrass digs in a left hook to Doyle's body.  Snodgrass attempts to land a left hook, but Doyle slips the shot and counters with a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  SNODGRASS IS HURT!  Snodgrass almost instantly recovers.

Doyle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Snodgrass attempts to land a left uppercut, but Doyle sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Doyle drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Snodgrass hits home with a right uppercut.  
Doyle is on target with a sharp left hook to Snodgrass's liver.  
Doyle lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Doyle lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Doyle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Doyle throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Snodgrass is on target with a left hook.  
Snodgrass throws a left hook, but Doyle clinches his opponent.  Snodgrass is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Snodgrass and breaks the clinch.  
Snodgrass connects with a cross.  
Doyle lands a left hook.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Doyle lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  Snodgrass hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Snodgrass throws a right hook, but Doyle ties up his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Doyle is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Doyle lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Doyle steps inside.  Doyle is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Doyle lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING SNODGRASS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Snodgrass cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Doyle!
