Kieran Doyle vs Glynn Connelly

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/02/2036 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kieran Doyle (10 - 2) who hails from Hull, UK and Glynn Connelly(1 - 4) from Londonderry, UK.  

Round 1: 

Doyle finds the target with a jab.  
Connelly finds the target with a jab.  
Connelly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Doyle drives a stinging left hook into Connelly's ribs.  
Doyle gets on the inside.  Doyle pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a firm right hook.  
Doyle pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Doyle throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Doyle manouvers Connelly onto the ropes.  Doyle pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Connelly is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Doyle closes the distance and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Connelly is on target with a stiff jab.  
Doyle lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Doyle closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Connelly attempts to land a left uppercut, but Doyle sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Connelly sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Connelly throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Doyle's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Doyle steps away from his opponent.  Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Connelly time to recover.  
Connelly connects with a cross.  
Doyle lands a straight 1 - 2.

Doyle retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Connelly steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Connelly lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Connelly is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Doyle switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.
