Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/01/2036 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Jervey (39 - 10) who hails from Orlando, USA and Chris Naismith(6 - 5) from Seattle, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jervey steps away from his opponent and lands with a solid jab.  
Jervey hits home with an overhand right.  Jervey throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Naismith advances into close range.  Naismith pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging left hook.  
Jervey lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Naismith walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Naismith lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Jervey steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Naismith sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jervey is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Jervey steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Jervey lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Jervey lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.

Jervey switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab to Naismith's body.  
Jervey feints a right, and then lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Jervey switches the action to the outside.  Jervey feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Jervey steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jervey feints a cross, and then is on target with a sharp cross.

Naismith closes the distance and forces Jervey to retreat onto the ropes.  Naismith connects with a right hook.  Jervey ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jervey pushes his forearm into Naismith's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jervey.  
Naismith closes the distance.  Jervey digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Naismith throws a left uppercut, but Jervey ties up his opponent.  Naismith leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
