Michi Shimizu vs Kazuki Hamamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/12/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Shimizu (44(4) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kazuki Hamamoto(0 - 3) from Ichinomiya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Shimizu digs in a right hook to Hamamoto's ribcage.  
Shimizu hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Shimizu attempts to land a jab, but Hamamoto sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Shimizu steps inside.  Shimizu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shimizu throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Shimizu holds on to his opponent.  Shimizu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hamamoto throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Shimizu's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu forces Hamamoto to retreat onto the ropes.  Shimizu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hamamoto throws a right hook, but Shimizu holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Shimizu pushes his forearm into Hamamoto's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shimizu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shimizu forces Hamamoto to back into the ropes.  Shimizu lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Shimizu digs in a solid left hook to Hamamoto's liver.  
Shimizu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hamamoto throws a left uppercut, but Shimizu clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Shimizu pushes his forearm into Hamamoto's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Shimizu to stop fouling.  
Hamamoto closes the distance.  Shimizu lands a firm right uppercut.  
Shimizu lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Shimizu stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Shimizu lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS HAMAMOTO DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Shimizu!
