Isamu Mase vs Cortez Lovera

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/12/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Isamu Mase (35 - 15(1)) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Cortez Lovera(1 - 1) from Monterrey, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Lovera throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Mase time to recover.  
Lovera is on target with a jab.  
Mase closes the distance and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Mase steps inside and lands a sharp left hook.  
Mase is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Mase advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mase hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Mase lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mase switches the action to the outside and hits home with a firm cross.

Mase gets on the inside.  Lovera digs in a right hook to Mase's body.  
Mase hits home with a right hook.  
Mase connects with a left hook.  Mase clinches his opponent.  Mase throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lovera advances into close range.  Lovera sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lovera throws a left hook, but Mase clinches his opponent.  Lovera uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mase behind the head. The referee warns Lovera and breaks the clinch.  
Mase tries to keep the action at long range.  Mase stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Lovera throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Mase lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mase connects with a stinging overhand right.  Mase throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mase switches the action to the outside.  Mase feints a jab, tricking Lovera into launching a right hook counter.  Mase springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.  
Mase hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mase lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Mase sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp overhand right.
