Daichi Sugawara vs Alex Sheridan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/12/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daichi Sugawara (14 - 19) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Alex Sheridan(5 - 16) from Aberdeen, UK.  

Round 1: 

Sugawara lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sheridan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sheridan attempts to land a cross, but Sugawara parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Sheridan steps inside.  Sugawara is on target with a right uppercut.  
Sheridan feints a left, and then is on target with a cross.  
Sheridan steps inside.  Sheridan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sugawara throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Sheridan is on target with a right hook.  
Sugawara lands with a solid jab.  
Sugawara hits home with a cross.  
Sheridan digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sheridan gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Sugawara lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Sugawara connects with a cross.  
Sheridan advances into close range.  Sheridan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Sugawara's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Sugawara lands a left hook.  
Sugawara lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sugawara closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sheridan closes the distance.  Sugawara hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Sugawara tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a solid cross.  
Sugawara lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sugawara steps inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Sugawara steps away from his opponent and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Sugawara closes the distance.  Sheridan is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Sheridan gets on the inside and connects with a stinging left uppercut.
