Michi Shimizu vs Naoki Ando

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/11/2035 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michi Shimizu (43(4) - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Naoki Ando(1 - 6) from Hiroshima, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu lands a right hook.  
Ando is on target with a right uppercut.  Ando tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Ando forces Shimizu to retreat onto the ropes.  Shimizu lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shimizu steps inside.  Ando tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Ando throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shimizu hits home with a right uppercut.  
Shimizu tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Shimizu lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shimizu walks Ando down, trapping him in the corner.  Ando lands a right hook.  
Shimizu manages to force Ando into the corner.  Shimizu hits home with a left uppercut.  
Shimizu closes the distance.  Ando throws a right uppercut, but Shimizu ties up his opponent.  Shimizu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shimizu steps inside and drives a sharp right uppercut into Ando's body.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.

Shimizu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shimizu connects with a solid right hook.  Shimizu holds on to his opponent.  Shimizu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shimizu walks Ando down, trapping him in a corner.  Shimizu lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Shimizu throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Shimizu clinches his opponent.  Shimizu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shimizu is on target with a solid left hook to Ando's ribs.  
Ando pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ando finds the target with a jab.  Ando tries to land a jab, but Shimizu blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Shimizu advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Shimizu manouvers Ando onto the ropes.  Shimizu is on target with a firm left hook.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Shimizu closes the distance.  Shimizu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ando connects with a right hook.  
Ando tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Shimizu connects with a right uppercut.  
Ando steps to the outside.  Shimizu lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ando quickly recovers. 
Shimizu lands a left hook.  
Shimizu closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ando's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Shimizu lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Shimizu throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Ando's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Ando sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Shimizu is on target with a sharp right hook to Ando's ribcage.  
Shimizu gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Shimizu ties up his opponent.  Ando is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
