Chris Stevison vs David Bailey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/11/2035 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Stevison (21 - 12) who hails from Montreal, Canada and David Bailey(0 - 6) from Burnaby, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Stevison feints a cross, and then is on target with a hard jab.  
Stevison is looking to keep his distance.  Stevison sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Stevison steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  Stevison tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Stevison sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Stevison digs in a left uppercut to Bailey's body.  
Bailey lands a stiff jab.  
Bailey tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Bailey throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stevison feints a jab, fooling Bailey into launching a right hook counter.  Stevison is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Stevison lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Bailey walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stevison lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stevison's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
