Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/11/2035 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leonel Leston (13 - 4) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Carlos Pecha(0 - 1) from Juarez, Mexico.

Leston manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Pecha connects with a sharp right hook.

Leston lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Leston throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Pecha's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Pecha hits home with a cross.  Pecha throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Leston to the neutral corner.  He lectures Pecha but does not take away a point.  
Leston lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pecha tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Leston lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Pecha is on target with a right uppercut.  
Leston lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Leston connects with a solid left hook.  
Leston steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Leston clinches his opponent.  Leston pushes his forearm into Pecha's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Leston.

Leston closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Leston clinches his opponent.  Pecha pushes his forearm into Leston's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pecha about fouling.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pecha's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
