Elias Tesoro vs Juan Vielma

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/11/2035 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elias Tesoro (17 - 3) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Juan Vielma(1 - 7(1)) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Vielma closes the distance.  Tesoro hits home with a left uppercut.  
Tesoro digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Vielma digs in a sharp left uppercut to Tesoro's body.  
Tesoro drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Tesoro pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Vielma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Tesoro's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Tesoro steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Tesoro attempts to land a jab, but Vielma sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Tesoro advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook to Vielma's ribcage.  Tesoro attempts to land a right hook, but Vielma slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tesoro lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tesoro connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Tesoro is on target with a right uppercut.

Tesoro pushes his forearm into Vielma's face.  The ref breaks Tesoro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tesoro lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Tesoro holds on to his opponent.  Vielma is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vielma to stop fouling.  
Vielma is on target with a cross.  
Tesoro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tesoro connects with a firm left hook.  
Vielma throws a right uppercut, but Tesoro holds on to his opponent.  Tesoro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tesoro about fouling.
