Dave Shiels vs James Prentiss

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/11/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Shiels (37(1) - 16) who hails from Hialeah, USA and James Prentiss(1 - 1) from Savannah, USA.  

Round 1:

Shiels is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Prentiss hits home with a firm cross.

Shiels lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Shiels lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shiels pivots to the right of his opponent.  Shiels lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Shiels clinches his opponent.  Shiels leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Shiels's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Prentiss lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Shiels gets on the inside.  Shiels pivots to the right of his opponent.  Shiels lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Shiels ties up his opponent.  Shiels is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Shiels's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
