Jin-su Mong vs Chang-hoon Ro

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/10/2035 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jin-su Mong (40 - 11) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Chang-hoon Ro(5 - 8) from Chungju, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Mong tries to keep the action at long range.  Mong feints a jab, and then connects with a sharp cross.  
Ro walks his opponent into the red corner.  Mong lands a stinging cross.  
Ro throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ro pivots from in front of his opponent, but Mong drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Mong strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Mong steps to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Mong lands a cross.  
Mong lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mong sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Mong attempts to land a left hook, but Ro blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Ro tries to land a right hook, but Mong parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mong is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Ro hits home with a cross.  
Ro closes the distance and walks Mong down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ro hits home with a solid left hook.  
Ro connects with a solid right hook.  
Mong is on target with a left uppercut.  Mong throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ro tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Ro's ribs.

Ro lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Mong clinches his opponent.  Ro leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Mong's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mong steps away from his opponent.  Mong sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Mong sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Ro attempts to land a left uppercut, but Mong blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mong lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mong clinches his opponent.  Ro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Mong lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.
