Demont Normandeau vs Tremeur Cohen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/10/2035 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Demont Normandeau (26 - 4) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Tremeur Cohen(2 - 7) from Quebec City, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Cohen advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.  
Cohen pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Cohen manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Normandeau lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cohen throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Cohen gets on the inside.  Cohen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Normandeau is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Normandeau pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cohen pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Normandeau is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Normandeau feints a jab, tricking Cohen into countering with a cross.  Normandeau avoids the shot and counters with a right hook to Cohen's ribcage.  
Normandeau steps inside.  Normandeau sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cohen is looking to close the distance.  Normandeau attempts to land a right uppercut, but Cohen blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Normandeau's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
