Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/10/2035 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jesus Blando (27 - 2) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Vicente Morlan(1 - 0) from Las Tunas, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Blando connects with a sharp cross.  
Morlan gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Blando quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.

Morlan advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Blando holds on to his opponent.  Blando pushes his forearm into Morlan's face.  The referee warns Blando and breaks the clinch.

Morlan closes the distance and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Blando holds on to his opponent.  Morlan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Morlan advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but Blando clinches his opponent.  Blando uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Morlan behind the head. The referee warns Blando and breaks the clinch.
