John Cranston vs Mark Ogg

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/10/2035 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Cranston (35(6) - 14) who hails from Boston, USA and Mark Ogg(3 - 15(2)) from San Antonio, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cranston is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cranston walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cranston lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ogg drives a solid left hook into Cranston's body.  
Cranston pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cranston gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ogg recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ogg throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Cranston advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Cranston ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cranston pushes his forearm into Ogg's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cranston steps inside.  Cranston pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cranston sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cranston throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  Cranston ties up his opponent.  Cranston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Cranston and breaks the clinch.  
Cranston walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cranston lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cranston lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Cranston gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Cranston advances into close range and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Ogg pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ogg throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cranston steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Cranston is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cranston connects with a cross.  
Ogg tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cranston lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Ogg tries to land a jab, but Cranston slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cranston is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cranston advances into close range and lands a right uppercut.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Cranston is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cranston manages to force Ogg onto the ropes.  Cranston pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Cranston lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cranston digs in a forceful right hook to Ogg's ribs.  OGG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Ogg almost instantly recovers. 
Ogg tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cranston lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Cranston is looking to close the distance.  Cranston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ogg recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Cranston lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cranston lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cranston ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cranston pushes his forearm into Ogg's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cranston about fouling.  Ogg almost instantly recovers. 
Cranston walks Ogg into a corner.  Ogg lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cranston drives a stinging left uppercut into Ogg's body.  
Ogg connects with a cross.  
Cranston advances into close range and drives a stinging left uppercut into Ogg's ribs.  
Cranston walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Cranston lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Cranston lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Cranston lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ogg lands a cross.  
Ogg steps to the outside.  Cranston is on target with a sharp cross.  
Cranston lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ogg recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cranston lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cranston is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ogg's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Cranston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ogg almost instantly recovers. 
Cranston forces Ogg to retreat into the corner.  Cranston slams a spiteful left hook into Ogg's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OGG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
