The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Scroggie (24 - 6) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Kris Ponton(0 - 3(1)) from Henderson, USA.  

Round 1: 

Scroggie steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Scroggie switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Ponton is looking to close the distance and walks Scroggie onto the ropes.  Scroggie lands a left hook.  
Scroggie lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ponton pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Scroggie feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ponton gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Scroggie switches the action to the outside and lands with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ponton's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Ponton throws a right uppercut, but Scroggie ties up his opponent.  Scroggie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ponton's kidney. Scroggie leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Ponton pushes his forearm into Scroggie's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ponton about fouling.  
Scroggie pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Scroggie feints a left, and then lands a cross.  
Scroggie tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Scroggie lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Ponton is looking to close the distance.  Ponton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm right hook.  
Scroggie switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Ponton advances into close range and hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Ponton gets on the inside and walks Scroggie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Scroggie throws a right uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Scroggie holds on to his opponent.  Scroggie pushes his forearm into Ponton's face.  The ref breaks Scroggie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Scroggie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Scroggie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ponton is looking to close the distance and connects with a solid left hook.  
Ponton lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
