The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Patrick Calero (20 - 14) who hails from Irvine, USA and Mark Roose(0 - 6) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Calero closes the distance.  Calero sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.

Calero advances into close range.  Roose throws a right hook, but Calero holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Calero pushes his forearm into Roose's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Calero about fouling.  
Calero closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Calero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Calero lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Calero lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Calero lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Calero holds on to his opponent.  Roose is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Roose throws a left hook, but Calero clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Calero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
