Mandeep Chohan vs Rehman Zafar

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/09/2035 from Bangalore, India:

The Bangalore venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mandeep Chohan (1 - 3) who hails from Kanpur, India and Rehman Zafar(9 - 18) from Bangalore, India.  

Round 1: 

Zafar steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Chohan is looking to close the distance.  Zafar lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Zafar gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chohan connects with a left hook.  
Zafar is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.

Zafar steps inside and forces Chohan to back into the ropes.  Chohan drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Zafar sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Zafar steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Zafar attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Chohan to the neutral corner.  He warns Zafar that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Zafar is on target with a left uppercut.  
Zafar lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Chohan steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Zafar is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Zafar throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Zafar's body.  
Zafar lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Zafar walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Zafar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zafar tries to land a right hook, but Chohan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chohan is on target with a stinging left hook to Zafar's body.

Chohan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zafar is on target with a cross.  
Zafar lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zafar is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Chohan's body.  
Chohan tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Zafar hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  Zafar clinches his opponent.  Zafar is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Zafar.  
Chohan is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Zafar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
