Arran Rossi vs Rex MacArtney

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/09/2035 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arran Rossi (41 - 7) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Rex MacArtney(1 - 0) from Adelaide, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Rossi is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.

Rossi manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rossi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Rossi drives a left hook into MacArtney's ribs.  
Rossi manouvers MacArtney into a corner.  MacArtney hits home with a right hook.

Rossi advances into close range.  Rossi pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Rossi drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Rossi pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Rossi lands a left uppercut.  
Rossi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rossi closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rossi advances into close range.  Rossi pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to MacArtney's liver.  
Rossi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

MacArtney could be stopped here, if Rossi can find the right shot!  Rossi lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND MACARTNEY IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but MacArtney cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Rossi!
