Gus Mills vs David Bailey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/09/2035 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gus Mills (8 - 3) who hails from Riverside, USA and David Bailey(0 - 3) from Burnaby, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Mills is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mills steps inside.  Mills pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Mills pivots to the right of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Bailey time to recover.  
Bailey lands a jab.  
Mills gets on the inside.  Mills is on target with a right hook.  
Bailey switches the action to the outside.  Mills hits home with a firm overhand right.  Mills tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Mills is on target with a jab.  
Mills sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mills lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mills throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mills is on target with a left hook.

Bailey is looking to keep his distance.  Bailey sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Mills drives a jab into his opponents body.

Bailey is on target with a jab.  Bailey throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bailey tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mills attempts to land a jab, but Bailey sidesteps and counters with a cross.
