Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/09/2035 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are David Swanson (18 - 7) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Peter Smith(6 - 11) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Swanson lands a hard jab.

Swanson is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Swanson holds on to his opponent.  Swanson pushes his forearm into Smith's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Swanson.  
Swanson steps inside.  Smith throws a right hook, but Swanson holds on to his opponent.  Swanson throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Smith uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Swanson's kidney. The referee warns Smith and breaks the clinch.  
Smith pivots from in front of his opponent, but Swanson connects with a cross.  
Swanson is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Smith feints a cross, and then lands a solid jab.  
Smith attempts to land a jab, but Swanson dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Swanson closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Swanson gets on the inside.  Smith digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Swanson clinches his opponent.  Swanson leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Smith pushes his forearm into Swanson's face.  The referee warns Smith and breaks the clinch.

Swanson steps inside and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Smith digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Swanson ties up his opponent.  Swanson hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Swanson manages to force Smith into the red corner.  Swanson lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
