Dave Shiels vs David MacGibbon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/09/2035 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Shiels (36(1) - 15) who hails from Hialeah, USA and David MacGibbon(3 - 1) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

MacGibbon is looking to close the distance.  MacGibbon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

Shiels is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Shiels sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shiels throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
MacGibbon gets on the inside.  Shiels is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
MacGibbon lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Shiels feints a jab, but MacGibbon is not fooled and lands with a right hook.

Shiels finds the target with a hard jab.  
Shiels lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Shiels tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shiels's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

MacGibbon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  MacGibbon tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

MacGibbon steps inside and drives a right hook into Shiels's body.  Shiels holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, MacGibbon pushes his forearm into Shiels's face.  The referee warns MacGibbon and breaks the clinch.

Shiels sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  MacGibbon attempts to land a cross, but Shiels sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
MacGibbon pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Shiels steps away from his opponent.  Shiels quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
MacGibbon steps inside.  MacGibbon throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Shiels's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
MacGibbon pivots to the left of his opponent.  MacGibbon attempts to land a left hook, but Shiels sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Shiels is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Shiels is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...MacGibbon's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

MacGibbon walks Shiels onto the ropes.  MacGibbon attempts to land a right hook, but Shiels sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Shiels tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Shiels feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
