Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/09/2035 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Eddington (20 - 15(1)) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Greg Raith(2 - 17) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Eddington is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Raith attempts to land a jab, but Eddington slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Eddington steps inside.  Eddington sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Raith lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Eddington lands a solid cross.  
Eddington tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to Raith's body.  
Eddington hits home with a ramrod jab.

Eddington switches the action to the outside.  Raith hits home with a cross.  
Eddington drives a firm left uppercut into Raith's ribs.  
Eddington pivots to the left of his opponent, but Raith digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Eddington lands a left hook.  
Eddington hits home with a right uppercut.  
Eddington feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.  
Eddington pivots from in front of his opponent.  Eddington throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Eddington ties up his opponent.  Eddington leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Raith pushes his forearm into Eddington's face.  The ref breaks Eddington's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Eddington lands a right hook.  Eddington ties up his opponent.  Eddington is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Eddington about fouling.  
Raith is looking to keep his distance.  Eddington feints a right hook, and then lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Raith's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Eddington steps to the outside.  Raith attempts to land a cross, but Eddington sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Raith throws a right hook, but Eddington clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Raith pushes his forearm into Eddington's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
