Khankishi Mirziyev vs Mahir Hamad

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/08/2035 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Khankishi Mirziyev (20(5) - 8) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Mahir Hamad(1 - 26) from Khujand, Tajikistan.  

Round 1: 

Hamad tries to land a right uppercut, but Mirziyev slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mirziyev manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Mirziyev lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mirziyev is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Hamad lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Hamad cuts off the ring, trapping Mirziyev in the corner.  Mirziyev lands a right hook.  
Hamad pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Round 2: 

Mirziyev closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Mirziyev lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Mirziyev pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Hamad is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hamad sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mirziyev throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hamad lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mirziyev advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Mirziyev lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mirziyev closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Mirziyev digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Mirziyev ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hamad pushes his forearm into Mirziyev's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hamad to stop fouling.  
Hamad throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Mirziyev's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Hamad attempts to land a jab, but Mirziyev sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Hamad throws a right hook, but Mirziyev clinches his opponent.  Mirziyev pushes his forearm into Hamad's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mirziyev.  
Mirziyev connects with a left uppercut.  Mirziyev clinches his opponent.  Mirziyev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mirziyev about fouling.  Mirziyev throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Hamad lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Hamad sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mirziyev connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hamad's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Hamad finds the target with a jab.  Hamad tries to land a cross, but Mirziyev sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mirziyev lands a left hook.  
Mirziyev gets on the inside and DETONATES a mean left uppercut on his opponents face.  HAMAD IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Mirziyev clinches his opponent.  Mirziyev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mirziyev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hamad throws a right hook, but Mirziyev ties up his opponent.  Mirziyev leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hamad uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mirziyev's kidney. The ref breaks Mirziyev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hamad attempts to land a right hook, but Mirziyev slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Hamad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mirziyev throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mirziyev about fouling.  
Mirziyev DETONATES a big right uppercut on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAMAD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Mirziyev walks Hamad down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mirziyev senses Hamad is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mirziyev lands a WICKED cross.  HAMAD IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Mirziyev!
