The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryo Avelar (17 - 8) who hails from Duque de Cazias, Brazil and Alejandro Rapozo(1 - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  

Round 1:

Avelar pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Avelar throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Avelar clinches his opponent.  Rapozo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rapozo about fouling.
