Alastair Casey vs Daniel Bowell

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/08/2035 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alastair Casey (21 - 6) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Daniel Bowell(1 - 8) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Bowell lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bowell hits home with a solid right hook.  
Bowell attempts to land a jab, but Casey sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Casey closes the distance.  Bowell throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

Casey steps inside.  Bowell throws a right hook, but Casey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bowell pushes his forearm into Casey's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Casey gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Casey steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Casey lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Bowell pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bowell lands a jab.  Bowell attempts to land a left uppercut, but Casey blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Casey lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Casey lands a cross.  
Bowell connects with a right uppercut.  
Casey manouvers Bowell onto the ropes.  Casey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
