John Cranston vs Ricky Balles

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/07/2035 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Cranston (32(5) - 14) who hails from Boston, USA and Ricky Balles(1 - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cranston is looking to close the distance.  Balles throws a left uppercut, but Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Cranston leans on his opponent using all his weight. Balles tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cranston behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Balles throws a right hook, but Cranston clinches his opponent.  Balles is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Balles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cranston throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cranston gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cranston drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Cranston gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cranston lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Balles quickly recovers. 
Cranston sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cranston connects with a right uppercut.  Cranston clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cranston pushes his forearm into Balles's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cranston to stop fouling.  
Cranston hits home with a left hook.  
Cranston gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Cranston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cranston lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cranston throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Cranston clinches his opponent.  Cranston is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Balles quickly recovers. 
Cranston lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.

Balles cuts off the ring, trapping Cranston on the ropes.  Balles drives a sharp cross into his opponents body.  
Cranston is on target with a right hook to Balles's body.  
Balles gets on the inside.  Cranston slams a hurtful right uppercut into Balles's ribcage.  BALLES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Balles almost instantly recovers. 
Cranston lands a firm right hook.  
Balles sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cranston throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Balles pushes his forearm into Cranston's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Balles.  
Cranston steps inside and whips in a nasty right hook to Balles's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE BALLES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Balles quickly recovers. 
Cranston lands a right hook to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head.  Cranston clinches his opponent.  Cranston throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Balles attempts to land a jab, but Cranston parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Balles pivots from in front of his opponent, but Cranston connects with a left hook.  
Cranston connects with a right hook.  
Cranston finds the target with a jab.  
Balles closes the distance.  Cranston digs in a forceful left hook to his opponents ribs.  BALLES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Cranston sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cranston is on target with a right uppercut to Balles's body.  Cranston holds on to his opponent.  Cranston pushes his forearm into Balles's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cranston forces Balles to back into the ropes.  Cranston lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cranston lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.

Cranston advances into close range.  Cranston pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Cranston walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cranston lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Cranston lands a right uppercut.  Cranston ties up his opponent.  Cranston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cranston to stop holding.  
Cranston lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cranston clinches his opponent.  Balles uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cranston's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Balles to stop fouling.  
Cranston DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  BALLES IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Cranston!
