The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neil Higuera (28 - 11) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and John Montesino(1 - 19) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Higuera steps inside and connects with a right hook.

Higuera hits home with a solid left hook.  
Montesino steps away from his opponent.  Higuera connects with a cross.  
Higuera connects with a sharp left hook.  
Montesino throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Higuera lands a ramrod jab.  
Higuera tries to land a right uppercut, but Montesino slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Higuera gets on the inside.  Montesino throws a right hook, but Higuera ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Higuera pushes his forearm into Montesino's face.  The ref breaks Higuera's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Montesino steps to the outside.  Higuera lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Montesino pivots to the left of his opponent, but Higuera lands with a hard jab.

Higuera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Montesino feints a jab, but Higuera ignores the feint and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Montesino finds the target with a jab.  
Higuera closes the distance.  Higuera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Higuera connects with a solid left hook.  Higuera holds on to his opponent.  Higuera is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Higuera to stop fouling.  
Montesino switches the action to the outside.  Higuera hits home with a sharp cross.
