Barry Wallace vs John Riddel

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/07/2035 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Barry Wallace (9 - 3) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and John Riddel(1 - 19(1)) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Riddel feints a cross, and then is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wallace lands a cross.  
Wallace tries to keep the action at long range and lands a firm overhand left.  
Wallace steps inside.  Wallace pivots to the side of his opponent, but Riddel lands a stinging right hook.  
Wallace pivots to the side of his opponent, but Riddel lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Riddel goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Wallace's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Wallace is on target with a cross.  Wallace throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riddel's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
