Andy Saul vs Jim MacLennan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/05/2035 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (23 - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Jim MacLennan(5 - 5) from Virginia Beach, USA.  

Round 1: 

Saul gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Saul lands a firm left hook.  
Saul connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Saul closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook to MacLennan's ribs.  
MacLennan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Saul closes the distance and digs in a left hook to MacLennan's body.  
Saul lands a firm right hook.  
Saul lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
MacLennan walks Saul onto the ropes.  Saul finds the target with a jab.  
Saul steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
MacLennan pivots to the side of his opponent.  MacLennan tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Saul forces MacLennan to retreat onto the ropes.  MacLennan is on target with a right hook.

MacLennan pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.
