Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/05/2035 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gareth Dixon (33 - 11) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Mark Pequeno(3 - 2) from Las Vegas, USA.  

Round 1: 

Dixon is looking to close the distance.  Pequeno throws a right hook, but Dixon ties up his opponent.  Dixon leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Dixon pushes his forearm into Pequeno's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dixon gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pequeno lands a stinging jab.  
Dixon gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dixon lands a jab, right hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dixon is looking to close the distance.  Pequeno is on target with a right hook.  
Dixon steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Pequeno pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Dixon advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dixon tries to land a right hook, but Pequeno dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Dixon's liver.

Dixon is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Dixon ties up his opponent.  Dixon pushes his forearm into Pequeno's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dixon about fouling.  
Dixon gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Pequeno digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Dixon ties up his opponent.  Dixon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Pequeno quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Dixon is on target with a firm left hook.

Dixon cuts off the ring, trapping Pequeno in the corner.  Dixon lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Pequeno is on target with a firm right hook to Dixon's body.  Dixon clinches his opponent.  Dixon uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pequeno behind the head. The referee warns Dixon and breaks the clinch.  
Pequeno connects with a cross.  
Pequeno pivots from in front of his opponent, but Dixon finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Dixon is on target with a jab.  
Dixon pivots to the right of his opponent.  Dixon throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Dixon clinches his opponent.  Dixon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Dixon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
