Selestino Limon vs Angel Vasallo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/05/2035 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Selestino Limon (34(5) - 17) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Angel Vasallo(15 - 7) from Barcelona, Venezuela.  

Round 1:

Limon throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Limon tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Limon manages to force Vasallo onto the ropes.  Limon hits home with a left uppercut.  Limon clinches his opponent.  Vasallo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Limon's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vasallo about fouling.  
Vasallo lands a firm right hook.  
Limon whips in a hurtful left hook to his opponents ribs.  VASALLO IS HURT!  Vasallo almost instantly recovers.
