Boxing Daily Report from the Uruguay National Finals 2035,  taking place on 26/04/2035 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Beltran Malagon (4 - 11) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Felippe Abela(58 - 13) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  

Round 1:

Malagon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Malagon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Malagon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Malagon's body.  
Abela closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Malagon throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Abela ties up his opponent.  Abela leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Malagon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abela behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Malagon throws a left uppercut, but Abela clinches his opponent.  Abela tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Malagon's kidney. As they grapple, Malagon pushes his forearm into Abela's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Malagon about fouling.  
Abela advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
