Boxing Daily Report from the Ukraine National Finals 2035,  taking place on 26/04/2035 from Lviv, Ukraine:

The Lviv venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Timofei Taran (8 - 11(1)) who hails from Odessa, Ukraine and Avel Dzik(34(2) - 4) from Kharkiv, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Dzik lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dzik lands a solid left hook.  
Dzik cuts off the ring, trapping Taran in the red corner.  Taran attempts to land a right hook, but Dzik parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Taran steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Dzik slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.

Taran tries to keep the action at long range and strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Dzik leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Taran tries to tag Dzik on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Taran lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Taran pivots to the side of his opponent, but Dzik lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Dzik steps inside.  Taran is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Taran tries to step out of his opponents range.  Taran feints a cross, but Dzik ignores the feint and lands with a right hook.  
Dzik steps inside.  Taran tries to land a left hook, but Dzik parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Taran is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Taran lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Taran steps to the outside.  Taran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Taran attempts to land a jab, but Dzik blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dzik is looking to close the distance.  Taran pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to Dzik's body.  
Dzik digs in a left hook to Taran's body.  Dzik throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Taran drives a right hook into Dzik's ribcage.  
Dzik lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Taran steps to the outside.  Taran sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Dzik closes the distance.  Taran pivots from in front of his opponent.  Taran lands a sharp right hook.  Dzik holds on to his opponent.  Taran uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dzik behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Taran.  
Taran steps away from his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Dzik gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Dzik ties up his opponent.  Dzik pushes his forearm into Taran's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Taran switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Dzik closes the distance.  Taran pivots to the side of his opponent, but Dzik lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Taran is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Dzik advances into close range.  Taran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Taran attempts to land a left hook, but Dzik sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Taran is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to Dzik's body.  Taran tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Dzik closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Dzik ties up his opponent.  Dzik is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Dzik and breaks the clinch.

Dzik steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Taran quickly recovers. 
Taran tries to keep the action at long range.  Taran sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Taran quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Taran switches the action to the outside.  Dzik is on target with an overhand right.  Dzik attempts to land a jab, but Taran blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Dzik tries to land a left hook, but Taran sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Dzik's ribs.  
Dzik steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Taran pivots to the right of his opponent, but Dzik lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dzik's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
