Emil Gudmundson vs Adrian Holmer

Boxing Daily Report from the Sweden National Finals 2035,  taking place on 26/04/2035 from Gothenburg, Sweden:

The Gothenburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Emil Gudmundson (4 - 9) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Adrian Holmer(6 - 4) from Stockholm, Sweden.  

Round 1: 

Holmer gets on the inside.  Holmer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gudmundson steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.

Holmer steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Holmer lands a firm overhand right.  
Gudmundson is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  Gudmundson throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gudmundson switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Holmer slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Gudmundson tries to keep the action at long range.  Gudmundson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gudmundson hits home with a sharp overhand right.  Gudmundson attempts to land a jab, but Holmer blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Holmer closes the distance and forces Gudmundson to back into the ropes.  Holmer sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gudmundson attempts to land a right hook, but Holmer blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
