Dai Falconer vs Bjorn Frier

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/04/2035 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Falconer (19 - 5) who hails from Dallas, USA and Bjorn Frier(3 - 5) from Roskilde, Denmark.  

Round 1: 

Frier lands a firm left hook.  
Falconer hits home with a cross.  
Frier closes the distance and forces Falconer to retreat onto the ropes.  Falconer lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Frier sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Frier attempts to land a left uppercut, but Falconer sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Falconer is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Frier steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Frier lands a left hook.  
Falconer lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Frier gets on the inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  Frier tries to land a right hook, but Falconer slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Falconer voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Frier is whaling away with hooks, but Falconer keeps his defence tight.

Falconer finds the target with a jab.

Frier steps inside.  Falconer lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Falconer ties up his opponent.  Frier is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Frier.
