Briant Batiste vs James Lawther

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/04/2035 from Mississauga, Canada:

The Mississauga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Briant Batiste (32 - 24) who hails from Montreal, Canada and James Lawther(13 - 11) from Mississauga, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Lawther is looking to close the distance.  Batiste lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lawther steps inside.  Lawther throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Batiste's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Lawther hits home with a right hook.

Batiste steps away from his opponent.  Batiste feints a left hook, and then lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Lawther is looking to close the distance.  Lawther pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lawther throws a right hook, but Batiste clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
