Leon Parry vs Aron Floyd

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/04/2035 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Parry (3 - 1) who hails from Newcastle, UK and Aron Floyd(6 - 3) from Cardiff, UK.  

Round 1: 

Parry lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Floyd closes the distance.  Parry attempts to land a left uppercut, but Floyd slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Parry's body.  
Floyd throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Floyd is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Parry throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Parry feints a cross, and then lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Parry lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Parry switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Parry pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, cross and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Floyd steps inside and manouvers Parry into the blue corner.  Floyd drives a left hook into Parry's ribs.

Floyd advances into close range.  Parry hits home with a solid left hook.  
Floyd throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Parry digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Floyd lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Floyd goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Parry's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Parry steps away from his opponent.  Floyd sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Parry is on target with a jab.  
Parry is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
Floyd is looking to close the distance.  Parry drives a right hook into Floyd's body.  
Floyd throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Parry to the neutral corner.  He tells Floyd he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Parry's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Floyd's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
