Boxing Daily Report from the Paraguay National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/04/2035 from Asuncion, Paraguay:

The Asuncion venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hernan Ortego (6 - 4) who hails from San Lorenzo, Paraguay and Pedro Gordon(16 - 16) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  

Round 1:

Gordon walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Gordon is on target with a left uppercut to Ortego's body.  Gordon attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ortego blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Gordon's ribs.  
Ortego steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ortego finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Gordon closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Gordon cuts off the ring, trapping Ortego in the corner.  Ortego lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gordon pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Ortego's body.
