Darryl Colvin vs John Edmundson

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/04/2035 from North Shore, New Zealand:

The North Shore venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darryl Colvin (5 - 18) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and John Edmundson(4 - 21) from Manukau, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Edmundson is looking to close the distance.  Edmundson sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Colvin drives a left hook into Edmundson's body.  
Colvin steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Colvin tries to keep the action at long range.  Edmundson lands an overhand right.

Colvin steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Colvin finds the target with a jab.  
Edmundson closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Edmundson SLAMS a spiteful left uppercut into his opponents face.  COLVIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Colvin tries to keep the action at long range.  Some sustained pressure from Edmundson could be enough to finish Colvin!  Edmundson lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND KNOCKS COLVIN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Colvin has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Edmundson pivots from in front of his opponent, but Colvin is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Edmundson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Colvin clinches his opponent.  Edmundson pushes his forearm into Colvin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Edmundson throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Colvin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Colvin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Edmundson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Edmundson throws a left hook, but Colvin clinches his opponent.  Edmundson pushes his forearm into Colvin's face.  The referee warns Edmundson and breaks the clinch.
