Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2035,  taking place on 01/04/2035 from Accra, Ghana:

The Accra venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cody Konadu (37(6) - 25(1)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Noel Quatey(17 - 5(1)) from Achiaman, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Konadu closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Quatey throws a right hook, but Konadu clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Quatey pushes his forearm into Konadu's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Konadu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Konadu throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Konadu holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Konadu pushes his forearm into Quatey's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Konadu about fouling.  
Konadu connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Konadu lands a stinging cross.  
Quatey pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Konadu connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Konadu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Quatey is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Konadu hits home with a solid left uppercut.

Quatey pivots to the right of his opponent, but Konadu lands a HUGE cross.  QUATEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.

Konadu lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Quatey quickly recovers.
