Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2035,  taking place on 29/03/2035 from Jodhpur, India:

The Jodhpur venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Devdas Shekhda (21 - 17) who hails from Bangalore, India and Girish Balmuchu(14(3) - 2) from Ahmedabad, India.  

Round 1: 

Shekhda steps inside.  Shekhda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Balmuchu lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.

Shekhda tries to land a cross, but Balmuchu sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Balmuchu walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Balmuchu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Shekhda closes the distance.  Shekhda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shekhda steps inside and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Shekhda drives a left hook into Balmuchu's ribs.  
Shekhda gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Shekhda tries to land a left hook, but Balmuchu sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Balmuchu hits home with a cross.  
Shekhda is on target with a firm left hook.  Balmuchu holds on to his opponent.  Shekhda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Balmuchu's kidney. The ref breaks Balmuchu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Balmuchu lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Balmuchu tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shekhda lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Shekhda closes the distance and drives a firm left uppercut into Balmuchu's body.  
Shekhda lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Balmuchu connects with a left uppercut.

Balmuchu lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Balmuchu throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  It looks like Shekhda has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Shekhda gets on the inside.  Balmuchu lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
