Iikka Vacca vs Jouko Niskala

Boxing Daily Report from the Finland National Finals 2035,  taking place on 26/03/2035 from Espoo, Finland:

The Espoo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iikka Vacca (3 - 2) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Jouko Niskala(25(9) - 16) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Niskala gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Niskala holds on to his opponent.  Vacca is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vacca about fouling.  
Niskala advances into close range and drives a left hook into Vacca's body.  Niskala ties up his opponent.  Niskala is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Vacca steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Vacca switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Niskala drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Vacca throws a right hook, but Niskala holds on to his opponent.  Vacca leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Niskala gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Niskala lands a firm left hook.  
Niskala is on target with a left hook.  Niskala clinches his opponent.  Vacca is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Niskala manouvers Vacca onto the ropes.  Niskala quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Niskala lands a left hook.  
Vacca is looking to keep his distance.  Niskala connects with a firm cross.  
Niskala walks Vacca down, trapping him in the corner.  Niskala hits home with a left hook.  
Niskala sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Vacca connects with a left hook.  
Niskala lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Niskala lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Vacca steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Niskala lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Niskala whips in a nasty left hook to Vacca's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE VACCA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Vacca almost instantly recovers. 
Vacca snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.

Vacca tries to step out of his opponents range.  Niskala lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Niskala gets on the inside.  Niskala pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Niskala steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  Niskala throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Niskala lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Niskala clinches his opponent.  Niskala leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Niskala's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vacca is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Vacca connects with a right hook.  
Niskala lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Vacca attempts to land a left hook, but Niskala sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Niskala lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Vacca recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Niskala forces Vacca to back into the red corner.  Vacca drives a sharp left uppercut into Niskala's body.  
Niskala lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Vacca steps away from his opponent.  Niskala lands a stinging jab.  
Vacca pivots to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Niskala is looking to close the distance.  Vacca throws a right hook, but Niskala clinches his opponent.  Niskala is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vacca's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Niskala walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Niskala lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Niskala ties up his opponent.  Niskala uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Vacca behind the head. 
Niskala lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Vacca throws a left hook, but Niskala clinches his opponent.  Niskala leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Niskala tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Vacca behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Niskala about fouling.

Niskala advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND VACCA IS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Niskala!
