Emmanuel Meiffret vs David Fraser

Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/03/2035 from Gaineau, Canada:

The Gaineau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Emmanuel Meiffret (14(1) - 3) who hails from Montreal, Canada and David Fraser(15 - 14) from Vancouver, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Meiffret tries to step out of his opponents range.  Meiffret feints a jab, tricking Fraser into launching a right uppercut counter.  Meiffret springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.  
Fraser lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Fraser walks Meiffret onto the ropes.  Fraser stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Meiffret lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Meiffret closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Fraser slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fraser pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Meiffret connects with a firm overhand right.  
Fraser lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Meiffret steps to the outside.  Meiffret sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Fraser forces Meiffret to back into the ropes.  Fraser sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Meiffret lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Meiffret is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.
