Margos Damadian vs Shahen Vartabed

Boxing Daily Report from the Armenia National Finals 2035,  taking place on 11/03/2035 from Yerevan, Armenia:

The Yerevan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Margos Damadian (13 - 15) who hails from Gyumri, Armenia and Shahen Vartabed(8 - 11(1)) from Yerevan, Armenia.  

Round 1: 

Damadian gets on the inside.  Vartabed drives a left uppercut into Damadian's ribs.  
Damadian advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Damadian lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vartabed hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Damadian closes the distance and drives a left hook into Vartabed's body.  
Damadian is on target with a left hook to Vartabed's ribs.  Damadian clinches his opponent.  Vartabed uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Damadian's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Vartabed about fouling.  
Damadian manages to force Vartabed onto the ropes.  Damadian drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Vartabed attempts to land a cross, but Damadian sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Damadian steps inside and drives a right hook into Vartabed's ribs.  
Damadian is on target with a left hook.  Damadian tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vartabed lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Vartabed throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Damadian gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Vartabed's body.

Damadian walks his opponent into a corner.  Vartabed lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Vartabed tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Damadian advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Damadian sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Damadian lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Vartabed almost instantly recovers. 
Damadian throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Damadian hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Damadian is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into Vartabed's liver.  
Vartabed finds the target with a jab.  
Damadian advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Damadian lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Damadian walks Vartabed down, trapping him on the ropes.  Damadian digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Damadian steps inside and forces Vartabed to retreat into the red corner.  Damadian lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Damadian ties up his opponent.  Damadian leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Damadian is on target with a left hook to Vartabed's body.  
Damadian lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Damadian hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Damadian lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS VARTABED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Damadian advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vartabed's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Damadian advances into close range.  Damadian pivots to the side of his opponent.  Damadian throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Damadian clinches his opponent.  Damadian tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Vartabed's kidney. 
Vartabed lands with a sharp jab.

Damadian is on target with a telling right uppercut to Vartabed's body.  VARTABED WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Damadian holds on to his opponent.  Damadian is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Damadian is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Damadian lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND KNOCKS VARTABED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Damadian!
